Try to Copy me* (2ne1) is directed to Pop Girls
February 25, 2010The establishment of this kpop-based group, POP Girls, has affected kpop fans in the Philippines. Their style, their music, their fashion, their name and even how they were formed were all based on the currently hitting field of KPOP in the PHilippines. We, the KPOP fans, regard this as an insult of how kpop is presented to the public.
Of course, the success of Sandara Park, knowing that she came from a station rival to where POP girls came from, is undenyingly interesting and encouraging to start something like that (as regarded 1st in history) here in the Ph. But, presenting something that is obvious OBviously OBVIOUSLY copied from artists in kpop namely 2ne1 (I don’t care), Wonder Girls (Nobody), F(x) (La cha ta), and probably 4minute (Muzik). Although, the song could be a hit and the voices of these girls are excellent and well versed in the genre they are performing, it is still inappropriate for this group to continue without even any change for the sake of originality.
I’m calling for all my co-kpop fans not to buy their album or watch their show, until some originality prevails from them such as the name is changed, the clothes are more approapriate to the weather (they all look fat and over dressed), the MV’s are also original. I’m not a hater of P-Pop, or whatever you call it, I just want to see this new genre start with something more original.
Black looks good in kpop
February 23, 2010Black is the absence of light the color of negativism and sometimes even coined with horror or death. The night sky is black. The shadow is black. The natural color of hair among korean is black. The universe is basically black. But, is the realm of fashion and showbussiness, BLACK is the color of SEXINESS. If KPOP artists suddenly wear black…it is just impossible not to notice them. Especially after releasing a music video like KARA and the comeback of the almost forgotten (at what described in Popseoul.com) T-ara.
Who would forget the controversial hit Bo Peep Bo Peep of T-ara with two versions of MV? Didn’t they look good in this photos?
(MBLAQ)The vampire concept wouldn’t leave my mind when I decided to make this article. Though, they don’t look vampirish here, MBLAQ, still has the edge to capture the BLACKness and create music with it.
Though, this picture is black and white, the black makes their skin more prominent. Though, these girls don’t need the magic of black to be glamorous…their success is in fact sexier than black.
Who doesn’t recognize the Best of Asia, the famous face and angelic voice, BoA? And who deosn’t want to see her in black. She’s definitely the origin of it.
The Clash of the Best
February 9, 2010
It was the third time that my cousin who was a graduate of October 2007 has taken the Nursing Licensure Board Exam. And, he can finally celebrate for passing it with an average score of 81.2. He said that this is the result of hard work and the magic of review centers.
Since year 2001, there was an enormous increase in the population of nursing students in the country. Even, foreign students would even prefer to study Nursing here than in their own country. And so the competition among Nursing colleges and Universities became intense as to cope with the increasing demand for nurses. Percentage passing rate serves as the verdict for the deans and the college’s quality education and top notchers whether in the top 10 or top 20 are becoming the free endorsers of the school. In the flow of these issues came along the popularity of review centers who keep promising a 99.9% passing and a quality instructors who were authors of books or with PhD degrees etc etc. I’ve listed some of the famous review centers for nurses and their founders.
