This guy is a beggar?
September 25, 2010
He’s been labeled by blogs [such as chinasmack.com] as ”xīlì gē” which means in Chinese as “Brother Sharp“. One blog weheartit.com put a title with the picture as “Most handsome beggar”. He was said to have mental illness where he couldn’t remember where he’s from, who are his family, or could even pronounce his name. His picture became famous in the internet earlier this year. Some even tried to help him, but the confused guy clearly didn’t need any help and interaction with people didn’t seem to go so well [watch video]

Charice ranks #1 in yahoo philippines search engine
September 23, 2010and “Glee season 2″ ranks as #9.
Charice really did a major-major outstanding performance especially when she sings “Listen” by Beyonce on the audition. I expected some sort of showing an obvious cultural difference in the way she sings, but it went well. Though, whenever I watch her sing, I still see the child who is just a 2nd placer in “Little Big Star“.
This is what Charstar posted in Tumblr that I really like it I’ll repost it in my blog.
television is now back at full force, and i’m eager to find out what will be worth watching this season.
Glee was alright last night. although i’ve always loved the concept,Glee was always disappointing with its ridiculous tangents and auto-tuned lip synchs. however, last night’s episode makes me hopeful.
like my fellow Filipinos and Filipinas everywhere, i was stoked to see Charice make an appearance. i really appreciated that her character was actually Filipina. as rare as Filipinos make appearances on TV shows, they mostly play other ethnicities. to think that some sheltered Gleek in middle America is seeing a filipino person from The Philippines, on a hit show on television, is a really great thing.
have you ever seen a starring Filipino character on TV? how about a famous (100%) Filipino actor? (i can name a decent number of halfies and quarters.)
exactly.
see why i need to be on TV? baby steps.
Charice hits Glee!!!
September 22, 2010As Sunshine Corazon, a foreign exchange student who [has been rumored] will be Rachelle’s worst nightmare. Though, there are plenty of glee fans who still think that there is already too many Asians in the show and douche bags didn’t like her because of how she looks. In contrast, the Chasters would love to see more from the “little girl with a big voice” most especially after she was nominated in the J-14 teen icon awards 2010.
Though, it’s clear that Charice will just be a guest start in the show according her website and the glee’s.
So let’s find out if Charice will really is what people say…***
In the Philippines, the 2nd season of Glee will be premiered on ETC at September 22 (4pm and 8pm)
There! There are 2 time slots provided for you guys plus the cable channels who airs even earlier and they also replay the shows on sched. So, please stop supporting pirated DVDs.

Top Inspirational couples
September 8, 2010
In the the Philippine’s entertainment business or even all over the world, it has been a universal norm to have a short-time partner. Since, celebrities are expose to people particularly beautiful and sexually appealing individuals so they are usually the subject of short lived relationships. However, despite this stereotypical belief there are still admirable couple who challenged their carreer and their personal lives.
1. Aiza Seguerra and Chen Sagate
We watched Aiza Seguerra grow up from being an adorable child actress to a great singer-song writer and guitarist.Though, a lot of people are not surprise when she first talked about her relationship on the Buzz. Fighting against the stigma of sexual orientation, Aiza managed to make her relationship with Chen last for more than 5 years and still together.
We hope the best for Aiza and Chen!
2. Aga Mulach and Charlene Gonzales
Everyone’s surprise to the abrupt marriage between the dating couple Aga and Charlene. Though, their romantic love story was clarified when Charlene whose hosting the Buzz last August interviewed her husband Aga Muglach which ended up in melodramatic scenes. Charlene once said that she and her husband never became together after a few months of dating Charlene told Aga if they will be just another couple who will eventually break-up, “h’wag na nating ituloy”. So when they are in the lobby of a hotel in Singapore a shooting in a late TV show, Aga proposed to Charlene and without a doubt she said “yes”.
3. Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez
Who would thought that the legendary singer-songwriter and the Asia’s Song bird will be getting married. After their controversial relationship Ogie and Regine finally announced in “Party Pilipinas” last August that they are going to get married. Despite the late age of above 40 they still manage to keep the romance going. The couple waited for years for the annulment to be settled and so they can finally face the altar together.

"I love you girl" - XLR8
August 14, 2010Finally!!!
Here comes the surprise center of the Philippine pop’s hearth rubs.Though, it still has that aura of Kpop bands (specially of Suju), nobody can deny that XLR8 is using their charisma and talent wise enough to be the front up of the so called p-pop.
With the constant attack to the group by Anti-ppop’ers, XLR8 keeps gaining attention and supporters from inside and outside the country. Some even claims that they are not Filipinos and that they are anticipating this group will be an international phenomenon too just like the groups in Kpop.
I actually think that they they’re going to make MV for “Anyway” or “MIss Beautiful”
Concerns about the MV “I love you girl“:
1. The Black Jazz aura is a very smart move!!! The director did a good job. I strongly believe that this MV will XLR8 swiftly to the top of the chart.
2. The Choreo*: fantastic!!! especially the last part; though, the solo part of the magno twins has just becoming the identity of this band.
3. Clothes: They all look like great!!! (That means if I am an owner of a brand of mens wear I would love to have these boys in my poster)
4. Music: I’m not really in the position to criticize the music but I can say it sounds catchy and the lyrics doesn’t really flaunt (meaning it’s not really that bad, but it is also not award-winning).
5. Hideaki really looks way different than that of the side kick of Kuya Germs. I am so proud of him.
Caleb and Adrian** just look hot!!! Arkin, Carlo and Francis are people I’d love to see in the cover a magazine.
***I hope to see these guys in the plane to other part of the world for a show***
